Lanthanum borates as a flux in corundum treatment

The cause of brown coloration in as-grown CVD diamond is subject to debate and two main theories exist: vacancy clusters, and nitrogen related defects. We adore high temperature processes, and this means we do our best to achieve sustainable economical pathways to ultra-high temperatures. Here, we demonstrate our modeling and construction of an economical lab-scale graphite furnace that can achieve temperatures over 2000 Celsius, designed for sintering of borides, carbides and nitrides.
